My Physiotherapist has finally permitted me to cycle again, but only under a strictly progressive protocol. I have recently been accused as being a rules Nazi, and as such set the rules for the Super Randonneur des Récupération medal, officially sanctioned by my physiotherapist.
The Brevet des Randonneurs Récupération rides must be completed in order, and in order to homogate each ride, it must be completed pain free.
1. BRR20: A ride on the flat for twenty minutes.
2. BRR30: A ride on the flat for thirty minutes.
3. BRR60: A ride on the flat for sixty minutes.
Given that the only flat place in Wellington is along the waterfront, each ride will be verified by the presence if ice cream or coffee in the riders belly.
All riders who successfully complete the series will the full Super Randonneur des Récupération series will receive the Super Randonneur des Récupération medal, which is carefully handcrafted from unobtainium, a recently discovered weightless and wholly transparent metal.
Random Ramblings about playing in the outdoors of New Zealand on my bicycle(s) and in my tramping boots.
